Looking to improve your performance on the road?
The use of the driving simulators are to improve areas such as driver behaviour, hazard perception and can be used to reduce fuel and insurance costs. Whether you have recently learnt to drive and are looking to improve your confidence on the road or drive for a living, we provide the training to benefit all individuals. We understand all trainees are at different levels on the road, this is why at Modal Training our simulators are tailored to meet your training needs. Through the ability to change your training environment, this will improve your skills, behaviour and performance on the road through practising scenarios which can potentially occur.
The driving simulators have realistic features such as a clutch, gear selector and accelerator, delivering an experience as close to real-life as possible.
The BMW Mini and LGV truck are used for the following exercises:
- Pre-employment assessment
- Defensive driving
- Safe and fuel-efficient driving
- Improving driving techniques
- Driving for the environment, e.g bad weather
- Pre-driving courses (under 17s)
- Driver alertness
- Post-accident assessment
Learning in a controlled environment will also allow for driving awareness to be practiced such as the use of mobile phones, speeding and fatigue.
