CIPD Level 7 Certificate/Diploma – Human Resource Management is a ‘flagship’ qualification that is part of Modal’s suit of HR qualifications and is the most widely-recognised professional qualifications in the field of HR and Development. Set at postgraduate level, they are also the highest level of qualifications we offer.
To apply for the CIPD Level 7 Certificate/Diploma – Human Resource Management course you must have successfully completed the CIPD Level 5 Human Resource Management programme, or an appropriate higher education qualification or several years’ experience in a relevant position. The minimum age of entry is 24 years, however, younger candidates with relevant qualifications and significant evidence of business/ management experience may be accepted.
It is usually expected that students who enrol on the course will be in some form of employment, this helps to facilitate the assignments and assessments. Ideally, your function in the workplace is either in a human resources role or one that is related to it. If circumstances permit and the job role is not in human resources the student will need to be able to access information in HR or have prior experience.
Studying a CIPD level 7 Advanced qualification will help you develop your breadth of knowledge and specialise in your chosen area. The Advanced Diploma will also provide a pathway to Chartered Membership.
CIPD Advanced Level qualifications enable you to learn how to develop and implement creative and strategic HR solutions that drive organisational performance. You will also be able to develop your understanding of organisations and the external context within which HR operates (CIPD, April 2015).
The Advanced Diploma/Certificate is a widely recognised qualification awarded by the Charted Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and taught under agreement with the Grimsby Institute. The Level 7 can be taken as a Certificate (one year) or Diploma (two year).
At Certificate level you are required to achieve 60 credits (four modules: two core and two option).
