At the heart of our crane driver simulator training suite are two full mission crane simulators. Housed high on a mezzanine floor, in 4-metre domes, each with seven projectors, they are capable of creating incredibly realistic training environments.

OSC

Advanced visualisation technology, real physics and high-quality graphics enable users to experience scenarios that are so close to real-life, they forget they’re in a simulator. Everything can be changed – crane type, setting, load type, vessel type (if offshore) and weather conditions – to create tailor-made training environments where skills and experience can be acquired quickly and safely. They also provide a perfect, safe way to test new procedures and processes.

Our two OSC simulators can be configured for rig crane, ship to shore, gantry crane or ship to offshore crane operations. If required, one of the simulators can be used as a ship's bridge so that operators can learn to control a crane on a moving vessel, or unload from a moving vessel. When used in tandem, they enable entire teams to be trained together in rigorous real-life exercises.

They’re designed to develop high standards of competence amongst crane operators and deck personnel, within the CRM/BRM principles.
